Dr Chris Looi is a double degree holder – his primary undergraduate degree being a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology from University of Manitoba, Canada, and his medical degree from University College Dublin, Ireland. His medical training is largely in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Emergency Medicine, Anaesthesia and Neonatology. From these training, he is a meticulous doctor and he has a pair of good steady hands for delicate work.
Dr Chris Looi is currently the resident doctor for the prestigious The Covette Clinic at Ion Orchard and for Uber Aesthetics at The Roxy Square, Katong. He aims to elevate the experience of aesthetic treatments at his clinic, not just with top medical devices available in the market, but also his acumen for beauty. Trained by one of the pioneering aesthetic doctor from a top aesthetic clinic in Singapore, Dr Chris Looi will bring his own brand of treatment at his own aesthetic practice, combined with the best traits that he has learned from his alma mater.
He has a keen interest in aesthetics and cosmetic dermatology with training from the Allergan Medical Institute (AMI), American Association of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM) and with formal accreditation from the Aesthetic Dermatology Educational Group (ADEG) sanctioned by Singapore Medical Council (SMC). He keeps his skills and knowledge up-to-date from both local and international aesthetic workshops and conferences.
His skill set in Aesthetic Medicine is up-to-date and is adept in all non-invasive procedures ranging from chemical peels, injectables such as Botox and dermal fillers, lasers and IPL to non-surgical lifting procedures such as Ultherapy; and minimally invasive facial threadlifts.
In his free time, he is a senior contributing food writer for SethLui.com. He has previously written for www.bubbamama.com, where his passion for writing food reviews started. With his excellent PR skills and passion in Aesthetic Medicine, he has been invited to speak at recent product launches for CNP Cosmetics Singapore and for UniQlo's Comfort Body Wear for Body Shaping.
